Thesaurus Alphabetical Display

In this form of thesaurus, all indexing terms, whether preferred or non-preferred, are organized as a single alphabetical sequence. Non-preferred terms are usually accompanied only by references (USE, SEE and Synonyms) to their preferred equivalents. Ancillary information (such as broader terms, narrower terms, related terms, scope notes, etc.) is appended to preferred terms.

In the Output Format there are many options to change the form of thesaurus alphabetical display.

To export the alphabetical display of your thesaurus:

1. Click on the Alphabetical Display button in the Export group of the Import & Export ribbon tab page.

2. Select a name for the alphabetical display file.

3. Click on ‘Save’ button. If the file already exists, a warning box appears; Click ‘Yes’ if you want to overwrite.

4. Wait while completion of making thesaurus alphabetical display format.

Notice: All the images in the RTF alphabetical display report will be scaled to 2800 twips (approximately 5 cm) in width.

Tip: After producing RTF Alphabetical Display, a text file will be created in the installation folder of the software containing the statistics of the RTF file.
