The ‘Similar Terms’ tab sheet contains the following fields:

Corresponding Terms

Add any corresponding term (CT) of the preferred term in this field. There is an editor at the bottom of this field which is used for add or edit items of this field.

To add a corresponding term, click on a blank position of the "Corresponding Terms" field then type the corresponding term in its editor. If there is no blank position in Related Terms box, simply select the last corresponding term in the box and press down arrow key to make the editor ready to add another corresponding term.

To edit a corresponding term, select the item in the box then jump to its editor by double clicking on it or using TAB key, and then start to edit the term.

Identical National Equivalent

'Identical National Equivalent' (INE) terms are the exact equivalent of the preferred term in different countries. Working with this field is exactly as same as working with corresponding terms. You need to select the exact language of each INE from its below combo box. The equivalent country of the selected language will be shown in front of the added term. You can define the name of the countries in Languages and Font Settings.

Nearest National Equivalent

Like 'Identical National Equivalent', you can add 'Nearest National equivalent' (NNE) or edit or delete them in this field.
