Is Thesaurus Builder available in languages other than English?

Though there aren't any non-English versions of Thesaurus Builder at this time, you can use Thesaurus Builder to construct your thesaurus in any languages. Thesaurus Builder supports a wide range of languages.

What is the minimum requirements to run Thesaurus Builder?

Thesaurus Builder runs on Windows XP/2000/2003 and requires Pentium II 300MHz, 64MB of ram, 100MB disk space and 800x600 or larger screen resolution. Our recommendation is a Windows XP installed on a Pentium IV 2.8GHz, 256MB of RAM, 1024x768 screen resolution.

I downloaded the software a week ago, but haven't opened it yet. Can my trial period be extended?

Yes, the trial period doesn't begin until you open the program for the first time.

How can I purchase the software?

If you decide to purchase the builder, please send us your complete personal/organizational information. You will receive an email from us with a pro forma invoice + a special release of the application containing your registration information. As soon as your payment is received by us, we send you your personal registration key that you can use to upgrade your trial version to a full license. You will receive the original invoice by ordinary mail.

We are interested in using Thesaurus Builder as our primary thesaurus application, but this application should support some features which are currently available in our thesaurus. How do you add these features to Thesaurus Builder and how much does it cost?

Customizing the application for clients specific requirements is one of our main services. There are two ways to add your demanded features to the application: First, If the feature you need is generally useful to other clients and it keeps the compatibility of the application to its previous versions, we will add the feature into our TO DO list and the feature will be available in the next versions(s) of Thesaurus Builder. You pay for the application so we will add your features in no extra cost! Second, if the first choice doesn't cover your demanded feature, or you would like to receive an exclusive special edition of Thesaurus Builder, we are ready to tailor the application for you!. Lets negotiate.

Does a User Manual come with the software?

Yes, a complete user manual (help documentation) is added to the installation files. We have tried to describe everything about Thesaurus Builder. And also you can find the last updated of the online version of the user manual here.

What's the difference between the trial version and the real software?

The only difference is the registration key. The trial version is complete and fully functional until it expires. After that, you need to purchase a special release of the application and a registration key to continue using the software. After expiration you can't launch the application.

What happens to my thesaurus information when the software expires?

All your data will remain intact, even after the software expires, so you don't need to worry about losing any data while your registration key is being sent to you.

What is the usage of the Golden Eye edition?

Suppose you want to share your thesaurus information to everybody who interested in your thesaurus. You can set the proper security on your thesaurus database and put it on the internet without any worry about any misusage of your thesaurus information. On the other hand, every body can install the Golden Eye edition of Thesaurus Builder on his/her computer and open your thesaurus database. They can only see thesaurus structure on their monitor, and may be able to print thesaurus if you set the print permission available to your thesaurus database. Notice that you should always be careful about the security settings of your thesaurus database to prevent any misusage of your thesaurus from whom purchased the other Editions of Thesaurus Builder.

Can I use the software on more than one computer?

If your other computers are at the location you purchased the application for, yes, you can install the application on all the computers in that location. If there is more than one location using the software, then you need licenses for each location.

Is there any discount available for college students?

Yes, we offer a 25% discount to the students, studying institutions, non-governmental universities, and all the non-exploitative organizations in developing countries. There is no discount available for the Student edition of the application. There is also 20% commission on every edition of Thesaurus Builder you sell.

I purchased Thesaurus Builder and want to update it to the last version each year. Should I pay again for the new version?

For the first year after purchase, we will send any new version to you at no cost. After that, all the previous customers can use our support and services, and update their software by 25% of the price of the same version of the application.

Is downloading over the Internet safe? Will I get a virus or something?

Yes, downloading programs over the Internet is very safe and millions of people do it every day. The odds are very remote that you will be exposed to any virus, but you should be running a virus checking program anyway. Viruses are much more often spread by emails than any other method.
