Step 4: Defining relationships between terms

Follow next recipes to add some relations to the thesaurus database:

1. Click on "Canberra" to select it. Then click on the ‘Main Properties’ tab sheet of the ‘Term Specifications Panel’.

2. Right click on the ‘Related Terms’ component and choose ‘Add’.

3. In ‘Add Item’ editor, type "Sydney" and click on ‘OK’ button. This recipe added "Sydney" as the related term of "Canberra".

4. Repeat recipes 1-3 to add "Melbourne" and "Adelaide" as the related terms of "Canberra".

5. Similarly, for each city of each country, add other cities of that country as the related terms of them.

6. Click on "Oceania" and then click on ‘Non-preferreds’ tab sheet. Right click on ‘Used For’ component and choose ‘Add’.

7. In the ‘Add UF’ window, type "Australasia" and any other information about "Australasia" you like, and then click on ‘OK’ button. This means that "Oceania" is the preferred term of "Australasia".

8. Add supplementary information for each term if necessary. (Step 5)
