Add Narrower Term

By clicking on ‘Add Narrower Term’, a new node is being added to the tree view of the preferred terms as a child of the selected term. After that, you can immediately change the term and its properties.

To add a narrower term to thesaurus database:

1. Select the term, which is the broader term of the new term you want to add.

2. Click on the Add Narrower Term button in the Term group of the Home ribbon tab page, or press Shift+Ctrl+T.

3. Edit the label and properties of the added new narrower term.
